MINT LIMEADE

makes 64 ounces

Tart, refreshing and slightly sweet, this limeade is deeply satisfying on a hot afternoon. I love this poured over ice or as the base of a cocktail. It’s so easy to make and a nice twist on the classic lemonade.

ingredients

4 ounces mint (approx. 5½ cups of mint leaves)

1 cup lime juice

½ cup honey

6 cups boiling water

method

In a large pot, pour the boiling water over the mint leaves. Cover and set aside to steep for 20 minutes.

In a large pitcher, stir together the lime juice and honey until the honey completely dissolves. Strain the mint tea into the pitcher and stir to combine. Serve over ice!
